In a medium bowl, add 1.5 cups of self-rising flour and 1 cup of yogurt. Mix until well combined. If you don’t have the right consistency of the dough, just add one tablespoon at a time until you can knead it with your hands and it won’t stick on your palm.
Sprinkle some flour on your surface and place your dough. Try to flatten it and stretch as much as you can using your hands without breaking it. Then use the rolling pin to roll it out into a 14″ x 9″ rectangle.
On the center of the dough, add the processed 2 pieces of sliced cheese, 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese, 1 cup of grated mild cheddar cheese, and 2 tablespoons of pecorino cheese (or parmesan cheese).
Fold it like an envelope. Take one side and fold it not over the cheese. Take the other side and fold it over. Make sure they stick well. Next, take the two ends and fold them over. Press down firmly and turn it around.
Place it on parchment paper. Gently slice it diagonally in a cross then continue to slice once you have 8 pieces. Brush the top with some milk.
Transfer the slices with parchment paper to the baking tray and place them inside the oven. Bake them for 15 to 18 minutes at 200 C or 392 until golden brown.
While it’s baking, make the garlic butter sauce. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Remove the bread from the oven and glaze with the sauce while hot. Then sprinkle some of the salt on the top. Serve and enjoy!
