Pour the stock and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or longer over low heat, then stir the fried okra into the tomato sauce, and raise the heat to medium. Bring them to a simmer for another 10 minutes, then taste and adjust the seasonings as needed. Remove the bay leaves and serve at once.
