My Mom and I are big bird watchers. She gets more unusual birds at her house than I do. She’s seen some pretty unusual birds. So, when a my Mom’s birthday or Mother’s Day rolls around I always give her a bird house. I’ll be making one of these for her soon! I don’t know many people who don’t enjoy the charm of bird houses…especially these pallet bird houses! They are so delightful! When my Daddy was alive he made bird houses for me to paint and I’ve got some pretty spectacular ones! I just recently got to enjoy watching a Momma bird make her nest and have her babies! I got to watch them leave the nest too…sooo precious! Nature is always so fascinating to me. I believe we should all take a minute and slow down long enough to sit outside and observe the wonderful world we live in.
