Materials:
Dish Scrubber
Hummingbird Feeder
Nail Polish Remover
Self-watering Planter
Directions:
Dish Scrubber
Puncture the top of the mason jar lid with a nail and hammer multiple times, covering the surface.
On the sponge, trace the mason jar lid using a marker. Then, using scissors, cut out the circular sponge that was traced with the mason jar lid. Reattach the mason jar lid to the jar and apply hot glue around the rim of the lid. Attach the circular sponge cut out to the glue on the lid. Make sure it covers the entire surface.
Next, remove the lid and fill the jar with your favorite dish soap. Lastly, reattach the lid.
Hummingbird Feeder
Puncture a hole in the center of the mason jar lid using a hammer and nail.
Cut out a small strip of sponge from the short end using scissors and cut it in half. You will be left with a strip of sponge that is approximately ¼” x 1 ½“. Push the sponge strip through the puncture hole in the lid. Then, wrap and tie twine not too tightly around the neck of the jar. Fill a measuring cup with ¾ water and mix in a tablespoon of sugar.
Lastly, add two drops of natural juice concentrate and mix well.
Nail Polish Remover
Remove the lid from the mason jar. Fold two sponges in half and fit them into the jar. Pour the nail polish remover into the jar and let the sponge absorb the liquid.
Viola! Stick your painted fingernail into the gap in the sponge and rub the nail polish off.
Self-Watering Planter
On the sponge, trace the mason jar lid using a marker.
Then, using scissors, cut out the circular sponge that was traced with the mason jar lid. Fill the bottom of the mason jar with river pebbles or gravel. Place the circular sponge inside the jar.
Lastly, fill it with some potting soil and your chosen plant.
