Are you looking for ways to make your spices look snazzy? This is a super cute idea to dress up your salt container so you won’t have to use the old boring Morton’s Salt container! It’s really easy and so clever. I decided to do all my spices in cool jars and this is a tutorial that caught my eye! I think a mason jar can make anything look good, and I know all you out there love mason jars as much as I do! I even use them for my homemade facial treatments, with essential oils. There is absolutely no cost to do this craft project, unless you don’t have a Morton’s Salt container and a mason jar! Who doesn’t have a container of Morton’s Salt in their home?
In this step by step tutorial he uses an exacto knife to cut the top off of the Morton’s Salt container. Then he puts the top in the lid of the mason jar and trims it down to fit. Next he pops that in the rim of the mason jar lid and boom! Now you have a pour lid for your salt!
