This air-fryer pop-tarts tutorial by Show Me the Yummy is the absolute perfect breakfast recipe for any morning. The recipe will only take you 11 minutes to bake and the assembly is short and simple. They are a perfect alternative to traditional pop-tarts as well if you have younger kiddos asking for a sugar-filled breakfast.
Begin by laying out your pie crust on a cutting board. Use a tuperware container to create the shape of the pop tart. Stamp the container onto the dough.
Cut the dough along the lines you created with the tuperware. Using a pizza cutter will be the quickest way to do this. You will want to ensure the pieces of dough are all the same size.
Coat the edges on one piece of dough with water. Use your finger to do this by dipping your finger into some water and then dragging it around the edges.

Fill the same piece of dough with strawberry jam in the middle, then place the other piece of dough on top of it. Use a fork to press around the edges and make the crust stay in place.
Spray the tops of the pop tarts with cooking oil and then place them into the air fryer at 350 degrees for 11 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix up your powdered sugar, butter, heavy cream and vanilla extract. This will be your pop tart icing. Just use a spoon to scoop the icing onto the pop tarts and then sprinkle some rainbow sprinkles on top.
