If you like your tomatoes always fresh, there’s actually a way to store them for a longer time! These are all proven effective and guaranteed to make your tomatoes last for up to six months. Share these tips with your loved ones today! Watch the video tutorial below to learn the following.

Directions:

Method 1

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, then pat dry them. Next, chop off the top and slit at the bottom. Place them in a large ziplock and put them in the freezer. This method will let you store your tomatoes for up to six months. If you’re finally using them, just dip the tomatoes in the water for five to six seconds, then peel off the skin.

Method 2

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, then pat dry them. Next, chop off the top and slit the bottom in a crisscross form. Add them to boiling water and blanch for four to five minutes. After this, strain the tomatoes and let them rest in ice-cold water for five minutes. Once done, peel off their skin and put them in a blender. Puree the tomatoes and divide them in a silicone ice tray or jars. Store them in the freezer for up to six months.

Method 3

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, then pat dry them. Next, chop off the top, and cut them into cubes or wedges. Lay them in a container, add plastic wrap on top, then add another layer of tomato wedges. Put on the lid and store in the freezer for up to six months.
