I’m a big fan of girl scout thin mint cookies, so when I saw this recipe from emmymade on Youtube, I knew I had to try it! What’s really sold me about this recipe is that it only needs three simple ingredients – Ritz crackers, melted chocolate, and peppermint oil. That’s right, even the ingredients are all easily accessible. I made many of these the other day, and my family can’t get enough of them, so I made another big batch today. It’s effortless, and you can make a big batch and store them in your refrigerator. What are you waiting for? Try this dessert today and see for yourself. Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions. All thanks to emmymade for this fantastic recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Ritz crackers
  • 1 1/2 cups dark semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • peppermint oil

Directions:

Step 1

To start, place your cookie sheets in the refrigerator while you make the cookie mints. Next, melt your 1 1/2 cups of chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. After you melt your chocolate, drop four drops of peppermint oil and mix. Now, drop your Ritz cracker into the chocolate, then flip, dip, tap, and slide onto your chilled cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
