Haven’t decided on which salad to serve on the holidays yet? Well, you’re just in time because today’s recipe is definitely for you. Last year, I was in the same place as you are, pondering which foods to serve best and it doesn’t help that there are only a few days left. I was ecstatic when I found this recipe from one of my favorite YouTuber, Catherine’s Plates! But enough of me, I won’t take more of your time, read down below for the procedure.
7 Layer Salad
Cranberry Walnut Salad
Grape Salad
7 layer salad
Chop large lettuce into bite-size and place it at the bottom of a clear large bowl. Add sliced eggs around the outside edge for a design then put any excess eggs onto the center. On top of it, layer with cucumber, peeled and cut into a half-moon shape. Season with salt and pepper before adding the cherry tomatoes (cut in half), place it between the eggs. Sprinkle peas and shredded cheese on the side and lightly on the center. For the dressing, prepare a mixing bowl then put mayo, sour cream, sugar, and milk. Using a whisk, mix until well combined. Pour in the middle of the salad bowl and smooth out evenly. Top with baked bacon then lightly sprinkle with peas and cheese.
Cranberry Walnut Salad
In a large bowl, place the spinach at the bottom and sprinkle the chopped walnuts. Add raisins, chopped bacon, and sliced onion strips. Lightly crumble the cheese and sprinkle it on top. For the dressing, mix cooking oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, and dijon mustard. Then, drizzle it on top of the salad.

Grape Salad
Put cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar in a mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer until the texture becomes nice and creamy. Add sour cream and vanilla extract then mix again until well incorporated. Pour the cream cheese mixture onto the grapes and fold it in. Sprinkle chopped pecans and 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until well combined. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped pecans.
