If you love anything corn, you have to try these 2 quick and easy canned corn recipes by Webspoon World. Both only require a few ingredients and taste delicious. The caramelized onion and corn soup is great for this winter as it’s warm and creamy. But if you just want a light snack, go for the corn fritter. I can have both of these any time of the day! They are flavorful and ready in just a few minutes.

Try these recipes if you have canned corn at home. I am sure they will be a hit. For the first recipe, caramelized onion and corn soup, you only need 6 ingredients – onion, butter, milk, salt, and hot pepper. For the second recipe, corn fritters, you only need 5 ingredients – olive oil, wheat flour, canned corn, salt, and egg.
Add the butter to a pot over low heat, followed by the chopped onion. Sauté until translucent.
Add the corn and fry for 5 minutes.
Pour in the milk, then blend using an immersion blender for about 5 minutes.
Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/3 teaspoon of hot pepper. Mix until well combined. Let it come to a boil, then it is ready to serve.
Add egg in a bowl, then place a strainer on top. Pour the corn with the liquid to strain. Set aside the corn. Whisk the egg well, then bring back the corn.
Add wheat flour and season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix until well incorporated.
Place a pan over heat and drizzle olive oil.
Take a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and add to the pan. Flatten with the back of the spoon then cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
Make the dip by combining Greek yogurt, red chili pepper, cilantro, lime zest, and juice. Serve and enjoy with the dip.
