17 Uses of Mayonnaise

1 – White BBQ sauce

It makes a delicious white BBQ sauce that pairs well with smoked and grilled meat.

2 – Caesar salad dressing

Mayonnaise can be the base for your Caesar salad dressing since it is only a combination of egg yolks and oil.

3 – Cake batter

If you want your cake to be tender and moist, add mayo.

4 – Grilled cheese

Instead of spreading butter on your bread, use mayo. It makes the outside perfectly toasted. You can also put a little bit inside for added richness.

7 – Grilled chicken and fish

Brush this condiment outside of chicken and fish so it won’t stick to the grill.

8 – Egg wash

Don’t have eggs? Use mayo instead. Brush it on the outside of your pie crust so it gets nice and golden brown. You can also use it in place of egg wash during the breading process. Just coat your chicken in a little mayonnaise before you dip it in breadcrumbs.
