Ingredients:

  • 1 – 2 lb of ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small cabbage (or 1/2 of a large cabbage)

Directions:

Step 1

Season the ground beef with ground cumin, 1 tsp of ground black pepper, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tbsp of olive oil. Mix well to combine and set aside. Next, mince two cloves of garlic and chop the cabbage. After this, heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

Step 2

Next, add the ground beef, break it down, and continue to cook for another four minutes or until browned. Once the ground beef has cooked, add the chopped cabbage. Cover the skillet with its lid and let the cabbage wilt down. After four minutes, remove the lid and mix everything well to combine. Turn the heat down to medium-low at this point, cover the skillet again, and continue to cook for another four minutes. Serve and enjoy.
