I have spent most all my DIY time this holiday season making wreaths, I have one on every door in the house. Nothing shouts “Merry Christmas!” like an adorable Christmas Wreath, I even made one using bath scrubbies last week, but I digress. When I saw this recipe for a meatloaf wreath on Youtube yesterday, I fell in love and what I discovered was that it was going to be the way I was going to do meatloaf from now on because this bundt pan method assures you an even crispy doneness all the way around. I don’t know why I’d never thought of it before, but this is hands down the perfect way to make meatloaf! In fact, I would go as far as to say, I had been making meatloaf wrong, in comparison to The Bundt Wreath Method. I started by preparing my meatloaf meat using my favorite meatloaf recipe, just ground brisket, 1 egg, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. garlic salt, 1 tsp. onion powder, and 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce. Then I smoothed the meatloaf mixture into my bundt pan making sure to get my meatloaf mixture into all the grooves of my bundt pan.

Then I baked my meatloaf on 375 degrees for about one hour. Then you invert the meatloaf wreath onto a baking pan/ cookie sheet and glaze the whole entire thing with your favorite meatloaf sauce, I used ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire Sauce for my sauce, it’s a Craker Barrel Copy Cat mixture that I love. Typically, you only get to glaze the top of an ordinary meatloaf, but I glazed the entire thing! Yum, so good!

Then you place the meatloaf wreath into the oven for a couple of minutes to get the entire meatloaf wreath nicely caramelized, then transfer the wreath to the serving presentation of choice and cut into wedges and serve. I hope everyone tries this delicious Meatloaf Wreath, it lived up to all my expectations and tasted crispy, caramelized, and wonderful!
