I just had to share this with you because I thought it was so clever. It’s a really easy DIY project that will be a great addition to your decor! Her inspiration came from seeing this at Z Gallery for $140. You won’t believe how easy and inexpensive it is to replicate.

She makes what Z Gallery calls a Makati Plaque. She bought a gold vinyl placemat from Walmart for only $.98. One of them she bought at a store called At Home, but she didn’t mention the price, although, I assume it was at a bargain price too. She picked up a picture frame at the Dollar store and a can of spray paint.

She purchased a small (5″ x 5″) and a larger block of wood (6.5″ x 6.5″) from Michael’s and she uses Rapid Fuse Wood Adhesive to glue the two blocks together because it’s quick and dries in 30 seconds and cures in 30 minutes. Then she sands the wood blocks to make it smooth. Watch the rest of the tutorial to see what she does from there, after all, it’s much easier to see it done than to have me tell you!

I absolutely love stuff like this because making something so similar for only a few dollars as opposed to $140 is a real win in my opinion! It’s incredible how much the one she makes looks like the one that is for sell at Z Gallery.

Watch how Treshaja does this cool project in her step by step tutorial.
