  • ½ cup of granulated white sugar
  • ½ cup of brown sugar, firmly packed

  • ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar

Place a heavy-bottomed pan on a stove over medium heat, then add in the butter, milk, salt, white sugar, and brown sugar, and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring continuously for about 6 minutes.

Step 2

Turn off the heat, then remove the pan from the stove, and let the mixture cool slightly. Add the vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar, then beat them until smooth and thickened.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into a buttered baking pan, then let it cool completely, and roll into a log. Wrap with plastic wrap, then place in the freezer for about 20 minutes, and slice into small pieces. Serve and enjoy!
