If you’re like me, you’ve burned yourself with a curling iron one too many times. If you’re like me, you’re also lazy and never want to take the time to curl your hair with heat. It’s damaging and takes forever. I always wished there was a way to curl my hair with no fuss.

I stumbled upon a blog post from Life After Laundry and found these adorable vintage curlers. I’m a visual learner, so I looked up a tutorial on YouTube and found one by MalikaGodt. With that and the blog post, I got a set of these done in no time!

These babies are super simple to make, and are a new staple in my beauty routine. They can make a super cute gift, too, so I’ll have this DIY in my arsenal for the holidays.

All you’ll need is:

  • 12- 3 in x 10 in pieces of fabric
  • Fiberfill
  • Velcro
  • Marking tool (chalk, water soluble pen or pencil)
  • Something pointy to help with turning fabric and stuffing
  • Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

You just wrap your wet hair in these, go to sleep, and voila, in the morning you have perfect curls! It’s basically like making mini pillows with velcro closures, but I’ll let Malika Brenna explain it to you more thoroughly in the video below. Be sure to check out Brenna’s blog post, too!

Let us know how your set turns out and share this post with your friends so their hair can get glam, too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
