I’ve always loved knitting, even when I was a little kid. I was in the knitting club in middle school, and always wanted to learn new ways to make blankets, scarves, hats and more.

I never had heard of the bubble stitch, a unique way to give some texture and pizazz to whatever you’re working on. It looks super complicated, but after watching this video, I’m convinced I’ll be able to get this stitch down by the end of the day.

For those of you who are great with knitting patterns, here’s the rundown:

The pattern looks a lot more complicated than it actually is. Start with a slipknot, then knit 6 regular rows. Then, you’ll undo 4 vertical stitches to create a ladder-like pattern, and knit through that to create your bubbles! Throw in some more yarn colors, and it looks super ornate, but it takes no time at all to learn!

Watch Studio Knit’s video tutorial to learn this stitch in more detail, and share it with your friends so they can learn, too!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
