These cookies may look complicated, but they are actually far easier to make than they look, and they taste amazing! I’m sure your guests, especially the kids, will going to love this treat! Watch the video below to learn the step-by-step tutorial.
To start, split some almonds into halves. Next, in a bowl, combine 3 & 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Mix well, then set aside. In another bowl, combine 3/4 cup of salted butter, 1 large egg, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Beat at medium-high speed for five to ten minutes using a handheld mixer. After this, add the dry ingredient mixture at a time while still beating. After you mix all the dry mixture, roughly knead the dough, then cover the bowl with a cling wrap. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, scoop about 1 & 1/2 tbsp of dough, then roll it to form a cylinder of around 10 cm in length. Place this on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Design this dough like a finger, then put an almond piece on one end to act as a nail. Press the sides so that the finger is not too flat. Make several of these fingers to finish the dough. Place this in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F and bake for 30 minutes. While waiting, you can now make the blood for the fingers. In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp of raspberry jam and a little bit of red food color. Mix together. After the fingers are baked, design them with some blood with this raspberry jam mixture.
