Roches are such unpleasant little critters, and they can be hard to get rid of once they decide to roost. Some of the smelly pesticides on the market may be worse than the actual infestation problem though. I was so excited when I found this video tutorial by Bright Side, on YouTube, that described so many natural and very effective ways to deal with this awful pest dilemma that so many of us experience. The most important thing is really to seek out those dark places in your home where dirt and food may get trapped. One of the methods to rid the home of roaches is to use bay leaves, the pests cannot go near the smell. You can also try garlic or onion powder sprinkled in their favorite hang out, they also cannot take the smell.

Materials For The Natural Pesticide Ideas:

  • Borax (mixed with soapy water for a cleaner)
  • Neem oil (mixed with water)
  • Bay leaves (placed around the home)
  • Fresh lemon (mixed with water for disinfectant)
  • Catnip (to make sachets)
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Baking soda and sugar (with small bowls or lids)

Directions:

In this video tutorial by Bright Side, on YouTube, you will learn so many cool ways to deal with unwanted critters in your home completely naturally. One excellent idea to try is to mix equal parts of baking soda and sugar, then place it in a small saucer or jar lid. Next to that put a jar lid full of water, the roaches will eat the mixture, then when they drink the water, they will be no more.
