This ultimate honey glazed ham by Smokin’ & Grillin with AB is the perfect feast for this holiday season. It’s so easy to make using your crockpot and oven to have that super crispy edges.   • 8 to 10 lb of bone-in spiral sliced ha,
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
  • pinch of allspice
  • pineapple (optional)

Step 1:

Preheat your crockpot to high.

Step 2:

In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of melted butter and 3 tablespoons of honey.

Step 3:

Separate the cuts of hams halfway through. Brush each slice with the honey butter mixture. Once done, pour the mixture in between each cut. Make sure to brush the outer part too.

Step 4:

Place the ham in the crockpot face down. Cook it on high setting for about 2 hours.

Step 5:

In a medium-sized bowl, add 1 and 1/2 cups of granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika and a pinch of allspice. Mix until well combined.

Step 6:

Remove the ham from the crockpot and place it on a baking dish. Do not discard the liquid.

Step 7:

Set your oven to broil. Sprinkle some of the mixed seasonings on top and outside of the ham and a little bit in between each slice.

Step 8:

While waiting for your oven, pour the liquid into a pot and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the remaining mixed seasoning. Let it come to a boil. Once boiling, lower it down to simmer.

Step 9:

While waiting for it to boil again, place the ham on your broiler and cook until the sugar on top caramelizes. Once done, pour the liquid sauce on top.
