The first thing you need to do is to check your toilet if it’s clogged by pouring a bucket of water into your toilet. If it flushes well, it’s probably the jets that are causing the problem.
Scrub your toilet clean with the brush and soap. Make sure to clean the inside of the rim as well as you want to remove any bacteria. Once done, rinse it well with water.
Turn off the water supply and flush the toilet. Remove the water with a shop vac, then dry the toilet with a towel. Make sure the inside rim is super dry.
Cover the inside of the rim with duct tape. Press all the jets underneath the rim.
Pour the vinegar into your overflow spout. Leave it for a few hours. The vinegar is great to remove any limescale buildup in the jets. It breaks the bonds of calcium carbonate and acetic acid.
After a few hours, pour more vinegar into the overflow spout and let it for a few more hours.
After a few hours, remove the duct tape from the rim. Turn the water supply back on and flush the toilet again.
