It never occurred to me that you could do more with toothpaste than just brushing your teeth! I had heard that girls put it on their zits to make them go away, but never the abundance of things listed below and shown on the attached video!

Some of the other things that aren’t listed in this video are:

  1. use it as a silver polish,
  2. clean car headlights,
  3. clean old piano keys,
  4. foggy swim goggles,
  5. water stains on tables,
  6. ink stains on shirts,
  7. hair dye stains,
  8. mosquito bites,
  9. cleaning your iron,
  10. clean the screen on your smart phone,
  11. carpet stains,
  12. nail polish remover,
  13. dirty hands,
  14. thermos,
  15. scratched CDs or DVDs,
  16. remove car scratches,
  17. Shoes
  18. and to even hang posters (it works like a glue and doesn’t damage the walls)

All of the uses for toothpaste really took me by surprise…especially nail polish remover. I can’t count the number of times I’ve run out of nail polish remover and could have used toothpaste instead!

Aren’t the Internet DIY sites great? So many things to learn that never occurred to us. I’ve learned so much in such a small amount of time!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
