Materials:

  • Garlic
  • Pan
  • Water
  • Knife

Directions:

Step 1

Before going to bed at night, peel a clove of garlic, then put it inside the toilet, leave it there the whole night, and flush it in the morning. It’s best to do this procedure at least twice a week and make sure to always do it at night since it’s the time when the bathroom is used less. The garlic in this hack serves as an antimicrobial and antifungal element.

Another option that you can try is by turning the garlic into tea which also brings quick results. Simply boil a cup of water in a pan, then once boiling, cut three cloves of garlic into small pieces, and add them to the boiling water. Turn off the heat, then cover the pan with the lid, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. After cooling down, pour the garlic tea inside the toilet, then leave it there overnight, and flush it in the morning. Make sure to do this before bed just like the first procedure. This hack helps remove bacteria and eliminate yellow spots around the toilet.
