Grease and grime build-up on your glass cooktop is normal if you use it all the time. Me and my family love to cook – that’s why ours have this stubborn dirt that’s hard to remove. So I searched the internet for a solution and found the secret to cleaning glass cooktops like a pro video by Clean That Up. I tried it, and it absolutely worked. Ours is surely beaten up, with a few scratches, but after finishing the steps, it looks 100 times better.

Degrease the surface. Spray the surface with a degreaser, then use scour daddy to scrub it. Once done, wipe it with a clean damp rag.
At this point, there will still be baked grease. Pour glass cooktop cleaner and scrub it in. Work in small circles and focus on the main cooking areas. Once done, let it sit for a bit, then come through with a damp towel and give the entire surface a rinse. After that, give it a quick buff with a dry microfiber towel.
If it’s still dirty, use a razor blade scraper. You definitely want to be careful when using this. Wet the surface first with a cleaner, then use a new razor blade to remove the gunk. You don’t need to push really hard or dig into it. Just scrape it in an angle back and forth. Once done, rinse the entire surface with a damp towel.
Once everything is nice and clean, buff the surface with a dry microfiber towel.
