Texas Roadhouse rolls were a hit when I used to go down in Murfreesboro here in Tennessee. It’s about 45 minutes down south of Nashville, but I haven’t been down there in a while. I remember how buttery, soft, and fluffy the rolls are. Whenever I took my mom there, she would just want to eat the rolls. I was obsessed with the cinnamon-honey butter that they gave to spread on the rolls. I remember at the time, the waitress had asked me if I wanted any rolls to take home, bless her heart. I think that was one of the best ideas at the time because they were so good! If you ever been to Texas Roadhouse, then you would understand. If not, watch this recipe by Savor Easy on YouTube then you’ll understand why I am hyping these up. I’ve never tried making bread or rolls before, but I think this might be the time I give it a try. I love baking sweets and desserts. I’m not much of a bread person, but most of my friends are. This would be a great recipe to start off in learning how to make rolls.
First, in a large bowl, add sugar, active dry yeast, and milk. Let that sit for about 10 minutes or until it gets foamy. Then, you’re going to want to follow the rest of the instructions by Savor Easy on YouTube.
Once your dough is ready, flatten it out on a floured board in a rectangular shape. The thickness of the dough should be half an inch and individual width 2×2. Place the cut pieces in a baking tray and let it proof again for 30 minutes.
Finally, when you finish baking the rolls at 350F for 15-18 minutes, brush them with melted butter on top. Serve with the cinnamon-honey butter spread and you got yourself Texas Roadhouse rolls!
