Breakfast casseroles have always been a staple for my family. Just about every holiday begins with a casserole of some sort. The best part about this casserole by Smokin’ & Grillin’ wit AB is that it can be made from ingredients, you likely already have in the fridge. You can even use leftovers to make it.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray your casserole pan with cooking oil.
Cook the Italian Sausage in a pan. Break up the sausage into pieces and once the sausage has started to brown, chop up your onion and add it in with the sausage, just so it gets a little cooked before the casserole goes into the oven.

Take the meat out of your pan and place it into a bowl. Add your frozen tater tots into the same bowl while the meat is still warm to defrost them a bit.
Make your eggs. In one bowl combine milk, eggs, onion, black pepper and garlic powder.
Put your cheese into the bowl with your meat and tater tots. Make sure the meat has mostly cooled before adding in the cheese. Pour all of this into your casserole dish and then pour the eggs in with the meat, tater tots, and cheese.
