Grate 5 apples into a bowl. Once done, divide them into 3 parts.
Put one of the divided dry mixtures into the round baking pan and spread using a spoon. Next, add one part of grated apples on top of the dry mixture. Spread them evenly. Continue the same process with the remaining grated apples and dry mixture.
Once you are done, poke a lot of holes in the cake using a stick.
Pour the hot milk into a small bowl then add 1/8 cup of butter. Mix them until the butter melts.
Pour the milk mixture into the cake and let it sit for a while.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes at 356 degrees F.
Once done baking, let it cool then remove it from the pan. Transfer the apple pie cake to a plate then sift some powdered sugar on top.
