Making these taco cupcakes is super easy and fun. They are customizable, so if you want it to be extra spicy, add more jalapeno slices or serve it with hot sauce. You can also use different toppings or fillings like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole. Give this recipe a try–I am sure you’ll love it.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Place a pan over heat and add ground meat. Break it into small pieces, then season with taco seasoning. Cook until browned. After 3 1/2 minutes, drain some of the fat and continue to cook for 1 1/2 minutes more.
Grease a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray, then line it with wanton wrap, pressing each one to the bottom of the cup.
Fill each wonton wrap with a spoonful of seasoned ground meat, then top with sliced jalapeno, shredded cheese, and green onion. Cover the top with another wanton wrapper at a different angle. Add another layer of ground meat, sliced jalapeno, green onion, and shredded cheese.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the wonton edges are golden and crispy. Let them cool for a few minutes.
Top each one with your favorite taco toppings. Serve and enjoy!
