I’ve always loved eating sweets and cold treats, sometimes I would crave them at the most inconvenient time, there are times when I’m too busy to go and get some, and there are times when I’m just too lazy. I would often buy large pints of ice cream, but they get too solid in the fridge and it takes time to let them melt a bit before I could get to eat them. Imagine my delight when I found out that I can make my own ice cream without a machine and with only 2 to 3 ingredients. Plus, it tastes so much better and is so full of flavor than store-bought. Also, it doesn’t take that much time to prepare, all I need to do is just pop some fruit in the freezer, then take them out when I want to eat them. Put 2 bananas in the freezer, make sure to choose those that are already brown, the browner they are, the better. A few minutes before processing the bananas, make sure to take them out of the fridge so that they are not that solid. Then place them in the food processor, add some milk, about a tablespoon or two, and start blending the bananas. You may want to stop for a bit to scrape the sides down into the blade, then you can add a pinch of sea salt and about a tablespoon or two of maple syrup, honey, or monk fruit. If you want, you can skip the milk altogether. Blend them all together until smooth and creamy. Serve and enjoy!
