
How can you say no to these super crispy potato cheeseballs by N’Oven – Cake & Cookies? It’s incredibly yummy, easy to make, and addicting. The outside is crunchy, and the inside is gooey. I just love the melted mozzarella cheese in the center! Serve this at parties – I bet it will be a crowd favorite.
Ingredients:
- 3 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of coriander leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes
- salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
- 1/4 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
- cubed mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon of potato mixture
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder
- 1/4 cup of water
- breadcrumbs

Instructions:
Step 1:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Cook in a pot with boiling water until soft.
Step 2:
Place the cooked potatoes in a bowl and mash them using a potato masher or fork.
Step 3:
Add 1 tablespoon of coriander leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes, salt to taste, 1/4 teaspoon of powdered black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, and 1/4 cup of grated mozzarella cheese. Mix everything until well combined.
Step 4:
Get 1 tablespoon of the potato mixture. Form into a ball, flatten, then place the cubed mozzarella cheese in the center. Pinch the sides of the potato mixture toward the middle, then form it again into a ball. Place it on a plate. Repeat with the remaining potato mixture.
Step 5:
Make the slurry. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of corn flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder, and 1/4 cup of water. Stir until smooth.
Step 6:
Deep the potato balls into the slurry and then coat them with the breadcrumbs. Repeat with the remaining balls.
Step 7:
Add a generous amount of oil to a pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the potato balls. Fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a strainer or slotted spoon. Place on a plate lined with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Step 8:
Let it cool for a bit. Serve on a plate and consume while still warm.
