Materials:

  • 1 roll of 2 & 1/2″ print strips (jelly roll)
  • 1 roll of 2 & 1/2 background strips (jelly roll)
  • 3/4 yds. inner border fabric
  • 1 & 1/3 yds. fabric for the outer border and binding
  • 5 yds. backing fabric (vertical seam)

Directions:

Step 1

Take a white strip, then add a print strip on both sides while the other set will have two white strips on the side and one printed inside. Put them right sides together, then sew. After this, put their right sides together again, then sew a 1/4″ on both sides. Next, line up the seam in a slanted way using a square ruler, then cut it on both sides.

After cutting, press these open, then arrange the finished blocks to your liking before quilting.
