Ingredients:

  • potatoes
  • 3.5 oz olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried ground garlic
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ham slices
  • cheese slice

Directions:

Step 1

To start, wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry. Next, place chopsticks on both long sides of the potato, then hasselback cut it, stopping the knife when it reaches the chopsticks down so the bottom of the potato will stay intact. After this, place them in a parchment paper-lined baking tray and set aside. Now, prepare the marinate. Combine 3.5 oz olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp dried ground garlic, 1 tsp sweet paprika, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp dried parsley in a bowl and mix well. Brush it all over the potatoes including the crevices.

Step 2

Place the potatoes in a 400 degrees F oven and bake them for 35 to 40 minutes. After baking, insert some ham and cheese slices in between the potato slices, then put them in the oven and bake for another five minutes until the cheese fully melts. Serve and enjoy!
