Jell0 is one of my favorite things to eat when I am on a diet because it is a low-calorie dessert. FunFoods on YouTube shows how to make a light dessert for those who want to cut out some calories. I love jello because you can cheat on your diet and have something sweet without blowing out all of your calories. Also, it’s so easy to eat jello because it feels so light and not a lot of substance to fill you up. Personally, I love the sugar free jello because it’s no sugar added and less sweet. However, it’s healthier without all of the excess sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 1 6oz package Strawberry Jello
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • about 10 strawberries
  • 2 cups cool whip

Directions:

First, add the jello packet to a large bowl and mix the hot boiling water to it. Mix everything together until the powder is dissolved. Mix the cold water to the jello mixture and set aside. Take a bundt pan or silicone mold and spray it lightly with cooking spray. Add the sliced strawberries to the bottom of the pan and pour half of the jello mixture on top.

Note: sit the bundt pan in warm water for about 3 seconds to help loosen it up on the sides. Overall, I love jello desserts because they look so cool, and especially when they have a layer of something else that is a different substance. This jello dessert reminds me of when I was a kid because I would see these at gatherings or potlucks.
