I love how cute and fun-size these strawberry cream cheese danishes are. Plus, they’re so quick and easy to make using only 5 ingredients. They’re simple because the ingredients are all premade and there’s no need for big bowls to mix things together. This recipe uses crescent rolls for the bread part, and I think it’s such a baking shortcut that is viable. Also, you can just pretend that you made these homemade and your family and friends would think you’re a fantastic baker. Cheri the Chef’s tutorial on YouTube uses strawberry preserves, but you can use any kind of fruit filling. This reminds me of a time when I made pop tarts using puff pastries and jelly which looked homemade. I think the idea of mini cream cheese danishes is a nice addition to serve along with breakfast. I love how having a little sweet treat in the morning to top off a savory meal.

These cream cheese danish cookies remind me of my childhood because I loved eating around the strawberry jelly. I just loved the taste of the danish, and it’s so cute to see them bite-sized. Also, the danish can be served when they come out, or you can drizzle icing over them once they’re cooled off.

It’s simple to make homemade icing: just add powdered sugar and milk.
