Truffles are easy desserts to make, but strawberry cheesecake truffles are just as easy. This truffles recipe by FollowTheFreemans on YouTube shows step by step instructions on how to make a sweet dessert for Valentine’s Day. It’s the perfect treat to make for a special someone that does not take a lot of effort but looks fancy. I would make these for a Galentine’s party or as Valentine’s gift. The strawberry cheesecake truffles would add a nice touch if you’re making a dessert heart tin box with an assortment of other sweet treats. Plus, it’s very inexpensive to make and homemade gifts are much more thoughtful than store-bought ones.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 18 Golden Oreos
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped or white candy melts
  • 3 fresh strawberries, finely chopped

Directions:

First, crush the entire Oreo cookies in a food processor or smash them into fine pieces with a rolling pin. Add cream cheese and mix until a dough forms. Freeze for about 30 minutes if the dough is too soft. Then, take the Oreo mixture, roll it into a ball, and flatten it. Add chopped strawberries in the middle and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Next, microwave and melt the chocolate. Remove the truffle from the freezer one at a time and dip it into the melted chocolate mixture. Repeat until all truffles are coated in chocolate. You can decorate your strawberry truffles with pink icing or sprinkles. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 10 minutes so it sets.
