I have been loving all things strawberries for the spring, and might just be my new favorite dessert. With just four ingredients, you can make the yummiest strawberry cheesecake dump cake. Catherine’s Plates has created a big crowd pleaser with this amazing recipe! I can’t wait to bring this to all my summer get-togethers with friends and family.
Ingredients Needed For This Recipe:
- Strawberry Pie Filling
- Whipped Cream Cheese
- Boxed Cake Mix
- Butter
Check out Catherine’s Plates video down below for a detailed ingredients list.
Directions:
Step One
Lightly spray your 19 by 13 baking dish with cooking spray. Don’t overspray. You don’t want the pie filling to be sliding around too much.
Step Two
Dump two cans of strawberry pie filling into your pan and spread it out across the bottom of your baking dish.

Step Three
Using whipped cream cheese take little bits of it and spread it scoop small bits on top of the pie filling. If you can’t find whipped cream cheese, you could whip some regular cream cheese with a bit of heavy whipping cream.

Step Four
Make the cake crumble for the top of the dump cake. Pour one box of cake mix into your bowl with ½ a cup of melted butter. Mix this up and get it to a good crumbled consistency.
Step Five
Put the cake crumble all over the top of your pie filling and cream cheese. This is what will give your cake the taste of a cheesecake crust.
Step Six
Cook the dump cake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Once the cake is done you can take it out and serve it with some whipped cream or ice cream, or eat it by itself.
