Attach your paddle mixer or get out your hand mixer. In the mixing bowl, drop in 1 cup of unsalted soft butter slices, 34 of a cup of sugar, and 12 tsp of salt. Mix the combination until it is well combined and fluffy. While it’s mixing, add in 1 large egg.  Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of almond extract to add more flavor. Scrape down the side of the bowl with a spatula and mix it again evenly.  Optional: drop some food coloring on the mixture and mix it again.  Add 2 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour. Scrape down the flour with the mixture before mixing.

Place the dough in a spritz cookie press.  Grab a pan and pump out the spritz cooking press, or use a piping tip and a piping bag.  To add decoration, add some sprinkles!
