I am from the South, so divinity candy was one of my favorite holiday treats that we would eat every year. I used to have a recipe for divinity, but I lost it in a move many years ago.   • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 to 2 cups of chopped pecans
