Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk, room temperature
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 & 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast
- 3 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- egg wash (1 egg + 2 tbsp milk)
For the glaze:
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Next, combine 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of condensed milk, 1 egg, 2 tbsp sugar, and 2 & 1/4 tsp instant yeast. Whisk well, then add 3 & 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 tsp salt. Mix until dough forms, then add 1/4 cup softened butter. Continue mixing until the butter is fully incorporated. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic texture. Once the dough is ready, transfer it to an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rest in a warm place for an hour. After one hour, punch the gas out and transfer it back to your working surface. Divide it into two equal parts.

Step 2
Roll and flatten one of the dough pieces using a rolling pin, then carefully roll it up tightly. Pinch the edges to seal it, then divide it into seven equal pieces. Transfer to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Repeat the process with the other dough piece. Once they’re ready, cover them and let them rest for 45 minutes in a warm place. After 45 minutes, brush the top with egg wash, then place them in the preheated 350 degrees F oven for 20 to 22 minutes. While waiting, combine 3 tbsp melted butter and 3 tbsp condensed milk in a small bowl. Mix well. After baking, brush the glaze mixture over the top.
