This honey-glazed pork recipe is incredibly easy and quick to make. The first thing you need to do is the marinade. Mix the soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and scallions, then add the pork. Honey soy sauce glaze:
In a large bowl, make the marinade. Add 1 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped scallions. Mix until well combined.
Score the pork shoulder diagonally, then rotate and score in the other direction. Transfer to the marinade and dip to coat with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate for an hour. Pour the sauce over the pork after a couple of minutes.
In a baking pan, add the asparagus and potatoes on the sides. Spread them in a single layer for even cooking. Drizzle olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix with your hands to coat. In the middle, add the marinated pork.
Place inside a 275F oven and bake for an hour.
Make the glaze by combining honey, sugar, and soy sauce. Drizzle on top of the roasted pork. place back in the oven at 500f for 20 minutes.
Remove the meat, making sure to save the juices, then cut into pieces. Serve with the asparagus and potatoes. Drizzle the juice on top.
