Philly cheesesteaks are one of my all-time favorite sandwiches in the world and I’m not even exaggerating! I could eat them often without getting sick of them, they’re just so yummy and now they are even easier to make with the help of this slow cooker method by The Stay At Home Chef on YouTube. Now, I can make my own Philly cheesesteaks anytime I want. You should give it a try too!
Step 1
Start off by slicing the beef roast into thin slices, you should consider popping it in the fridge 30 minutes prior to slicing to make cutting it easier. Once done slicing, place the beef in the bottom of a slow cooker, then pour about half a cup of A.1. sauce all over the meat, and top it with the minced garlic. Scatter the sliced bell pepper and onion over the top as well, then season it with some salt and black pepper. Place the lid on the slow cooker, then let the meat cook on a low setting for about 6 to 8 hours or a high setting for about 3 to 4 hours.

Step 2
Cut a slit on the middle of each hoagie roll, then place them open onto a baking sheet, brush the insides with melted butter, and then toast the rolls 4 pieces at a time under the broiler setting for about 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Toss the cooked meat and vegetables together until well combined, then scoop them into the hoagie rolls. Top each roll with provolone cheese, then put them back in the oven over the broiler setting again for about 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Best served hot!
