Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice of bread (for breadcrumbs)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1 – 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp dehydrated minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Meatloaf Glaze:

  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp A1 sauce
  • 1 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

Step 1

Put the ground beef in a large mixing bowl, then add 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp dehydrated minced onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley, 1 large egg, and the breadcrumbs. Mix everything together until combined. Once done, shape the ground beef mixture into a meatloaf, then place it into the slow cooker.

Step 2

Make the sauce by combining 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp A1 sauce, and 1 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo. Mix well. Spread it over the meatloaf as evenly as possible without letting it slide on the sides. Cover the slow cooker with its lid, set it on high, and let it cook for three to four hours until tender and cooked through.
