I’m a big fan of slow cooker recipes. They’re a total lifesaver, especially if I’m having a busy day, as I can just throw all the ingredients inside, set it on high or low, and cook. Through the years, I’ve tried countless slow cooker recipes, but this particular recipe from The Magical Slow Cooker on YouTube has been a staple, especially during the Fall season. Who could resist this slow-cooked to perfection chuck roast? It’s so tender; it feels like melting in your mouth. And can you believe it has Coca-Cola in the recipe? Ingredients:

  • 3 lb chuck roast
  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 1 lb red potatoes, quartered (or halved baby potatoes)
  • 1 white onion, diced large
  • 1 oz Lipton onion soup mix
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz can of Coca Cola

Directions:

Step 1

In your slow cooker, add the chuck roast followed by the baby carrots, quartered red potatoes, diced onions, 1 oz Lipton onion soup mix, 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup, 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, and 12 oz can of Coca Cola.

Step 2

After this, place the lid on the slow cooker, set it on low, and cook for nine hours without opening the lid during the cooking time. Once done, shred the chuck roast, then serve.
