Ingredients:

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 white onion, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • salt and pepper to season

Directions:

Step 1

Start by adding the chicken breasts to the bottom of the slow cooker, then pour 1 cup of chicken broth. Next, add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp paprika. Put the lid on and cook for six hours on low heat. After six hours, add 1 sliced white onion, 2 cups of sliced mushrooms, and two sliced bell pepper. Cover again and cook for another one and a half hours.

Step 2

After one and a half hours, remove the lid, then shred the chicken breasts using two forks. Get some hoagie rolls and pile them with some chicken and veggies. You can add swiss cheese on top and melt it for added flavor.
