This slow cooker beef stew is a mouthwatering dish perfect for cold winter days. The meat is perfectly tender and soft, and each bite is packed with an explosion of flavors. Whenever I make this recipe for dinner, we never have any leftovers. Everybody just loves it. The best thing about this recipe is that you can cook it in your crockpot and let it do its magic.

In a small bowl, add 1/3 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1/2 tablespoon of pepper. Mix to combine.
Sprinkle the flour mixture on the beef and rub it in. Make sure everything is covered.
Place a large skillet over heat and add oil. Once hot, add the meat and sear on every side until browned. Transfer the meat to the slow cooker.
Add diced onion, celery, carrot, garlic, plum tomatoes, wine, fresh parsley, fresh sage, bay leaf, and salt.
Cook on low setting for about 8 hours.
Serve the beef stew with your preferred side dish and garnish with some freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy!
