Sloppy Joes are so delicious and you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t like them, so that makes them the perfect food to serve at your family, your next Game Day Party, or to bring to your next Potluck Event. My family loves sloppy joes and they really went wild over these biscuits on top. I used Pillsbury Grands Pop Biscuits and they are so easy to pop right open and use immediately, yet retain all the things you love about the home-cooked kind.  ingredients are basic and super simple and this recipe is very simple and straightforward.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 Chopped Onion (chopped finely)
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Sharp Cheddar)
  • 1 can of Pillsbury Flakey Biscuits

Sloppy Joe Sauce:

  • 3 cups Ketchup
  • 8 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, then brown your meat in a skillet add onions, garlic salt, drain off grease when done. Once you have drained your meat mix together sloppy joe sauce ingredients and add to the cooked meat in the skillet.

2. Grease a (9 x 13″) pan and add sloppy joe mixture layer first on the bottom, then add a layer of cheese, then pop open your delicious Pillsbury Grands Pop Biscuits and cut them in half (they will look like half Moon wedges) layer the biscuit wedges over the top of your casserole. Cook until biscuits are golden brown, then serve.
