Grease your cast-iron skillet or casserole dish. Then place the frozen biscuits and cover with a dish towel or plastic wrap. Allow them to thaw.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F once thawed. Then melt the butter and set it aside. Next, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. Dip each biscuit in butter and coat it using the brown sugar mixture. Then place the biscuit back in the skillet.
Slice the canned apples into smaller pieces and arrange them over the biscuits. Pour the remaining butter on top of the biscuits and apples. Then sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture.
Now it’s ready to bake. Place in the oven without covering and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. While the biscuits are baking, prepare your icing. Mix powdered sugar and half and half to your desired consistency.
After 45 minutes, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 5-10 minutes. Then drizzle the icing on top.
