Root beer is such a refreshing drink in the summertime. In my opinion root beer is the king of all soft drinks and tastes way than all of the popular brands of soft drinks hands down. Recently I found this root beer float pie video recipe tutorial by The Baking Diva on YouTube, and I knew I had to make it. The minute I saw this root beer float pie, I longed for a root beer float from the old hamburger stand, malt shop, in my hometown. We cooled off all summer long with the delicious floats at our local haunt, called Roger’s Malt Shop in Dickinson, Texas. This pie held so many fond memories, even before I made it.
