Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken (cut into bite-size pieces)
- 2 – 3 tbsp oil
- salt to season
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
Seasonings for the chicken:
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
Veggies:
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped yellow bell pepper
- 2 tsp minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
- 1 & 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
stir-fry sauces:
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 & 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 3 tsp red chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- corn slurry (2 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Directions:
Step 1
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, then add the bite-size chicken pieces. Stir for 30 seconds on high heat, then add 1/2 tsp pepper powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Fry in high heat for three more minutes. Next, add 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce and fry till the meat is browned, then remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2
In the same wok, add 2 tsp minced garlic and 1 & 1/2 tsp chopped ginger. Stir fry on high heat for fifteen seconds. After this, add the sliced carrots and chopped red and yellow bell pepper and continue to stir on high heat for a minute. Add the broccoli florets, a pinch of salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper powder. Stir fry on high heat for another two minutes. Add back the chicken and give it a mix. Now, add 2 tsp dark soy sauce, 1/4 cup chicken stock, 3 tsp red chili sauce, and 1 tbsp honey. Continue mixing for two more minutes. After this, add the slurry to thicken the sauce, then add 2 tsp sesame oil. Cook for another minute, then serve.
