Quarantine is no fun and can be a difficult road to navigate, but with the help of a Youtuber by the name of Ronda Rousey who has many recipes and cool food storage ideas on her channel Ronda’s Quarantine Kitchen, we can learn many helpful tips. We join Ronda as she makes teriyaki style beef jerky in an air fryer. Beef jerky is so excellent to have as sortable food and has such a savory flavor of a real meal without cooking. Making jerky from any meat whether it’s beef or venison is an excellent way to preserve your meats outside of freezing. I had always been making it in the oven but I recently found this recipe by Ronda, to make beef jerky in the air fryer. My husband had bought me an air fryer for Christmas I am always on the lookout for new recipes. The main reason I loved this fabulous air fryer recipe is that it only takes a short amount of time to make beef jerky in the air fryer and it takes a really long time in the oven. So with all that in mind, I began my beef jerky recipe by making the fabulous marinade that is described so well in the video, you can marinate your jerky for up to 48 hours and at a minimum of 24 hours, but bear in mind the longer you marinate it the more tender and flavorful the beef jerky will become so it’s a good idea to try for a bit over 24 hours at least.
First, you will marinate your thinly sliced meat for 8 to 48 hours, depending on what level of flavor intensity you desire.
Then you arrange your marinated meat on the air fryer tiered racks and cook at 165 degrees for about 3 hours.
This air fryer jerky is so easy and perfect for quarantine.
